The international cultural and film festival completely dedicated to comedy.

Pulcinella FilmFest is film screenings and juries, concerts, art and photographic exhibitions, conferences, meetings, guided tours, shows, territorial animation, casting, ecological activities for children and adults, book presentations, readings for children, tasting of typical products, theatrical performances, a Pulcinella ballad with the attendance of 300 artists from all over the world.

Cinema

Pulcinella FilmFest is based on deep cinematographic research dividing itself into seven sections, three of which are competitive for a film competition of over 100 films from all over the world and international premieres thanks to 6 screens spread throughout the city.
And then retrospectives on comedy and personalities of past as an opportunity to rediscover important moments in the history of cinema with films no longer available on cinema and television circuit, conferences with directors and actors, meetings between public and main characters of the works in projection and even workshops, conferences, masterclasses and seminars of a high level of training and information that increase the highly professional aspect of the event.
Children and young people from local schools create a commercial to introduce Pulcinella FilmFest to citizens.
At the end there is the Short Film Contest, a real battle to the sound of filming and acting where three small film crews compete in a few hours to make a short film with Pulcinella as a main theme.

Musica and show

Concerts, DJ sets, activities for children, shows and outdoor meetings in the Interstitial Gardens of Acerra Castello dei Conti with street food where you can enjoy a wide selection of culinary proposals.
Between typical local dishes and international cuisine specialties, presentations and tastings, food becomes a tool for the dissemination of those values that the Festival intends to promote since its beginning: culture, conviviality, tradition and innovation, quality and respect for environment.

Art and literature

At Pulcinella FilmFest there is also space for artistic and photographic exhibitions, to fall even more in love with the territory and art, video-exhibitions and live painting to tell the emotions of the film festival through painting and sculpture.
Reading moments for adults and children, stories collected in contemporary and historical texts to share, learn and disseminate literature in several locations in the city.

Theater, cabaret and street Art/h2>

Theatrical performances, marionettes and puppets, dramas, sketches, recitals, moments of cabaret and a parade through the streets of the city of dozens of Masked Pulcinella for Pulcinella FilmFest inauguration accompanied by folkloristic notes of Acerra Band, an innovative way but careful to tradition to announce the start of the event and distribute the events program to the city.
